The Volebeats / Sky and the Ocean
If you like Alt Country at all, then you need to pick up an album or two from this group. Ryan Adams has once called them “The best **cking band in America”. I couldn’t find the source but I believe he also mentioned the album “Sky and the Ocean” being the best Alt Country album of all time.
Anyway, they really blend pop into their music as well for a nice touch. You need to also check out the songs “Somewhere In My Heart” and “It’s Alright”. The crazy thing is, apparently they are unsigned.
