Barn Siding Coffee Table
Well, it only took over a one year to complete, but it is finally done. I’m very happy with how it turned out. And as you can see, I’m not exactly afraid of color. We decided to go with Magenta for the legs. Barn siding from my parent’s farm was used for the top, which I’m leaving rough and untouched.
If I had more tools, time & money, I probably would do this completely different next time. For starters, I made this from recycled 2x4s since I didn’t have the money to go buy Poplar or Maple. I wouldn’t advise that to anyone, after going through it. It was a pain to rip them down and then deal with all of the wood splits, etc.
