Night Flight (working title)
Here is a large scale print I finished up laaate last night. For a presentation I have on Monday, which I am basically working on day & night until then. I really love how this one turned out. I wanted to keep it fairly simple, and more of a graphic representation of flying over a large city at sunset.

Another night shot, with my hometown in the background.
At Home
I was briefly in my hometown this past Friday, and took the opportunity to take some night photos. I was excited because I had my tripod with me, camera, and shutter release remote: which meant I was going to do what I have always wanted to do, and take some star trail shots over my parents farm.
Only problem was, once I got there and the sun went down, it was a full moon. You can’t really do star trails with a full moon, but I took a few shots anyway.
The orange light cast is from the light on my father’s garage. The strange light streaks you are seeing are lightning bugs. You can see a few stars coming through, but it would have been so many more without the full moon.

Another experiment with geometric shapes, color & texture.

Something a little different from me. I’ve been experimenting with some different styles lately. Here is one of the results that I’m pretty happy with.

Water
I’ve always wanted to make an image having something to do with water, so here it is. I guess it is the warm weather having an effect on me, because I have the sea and beaches on the brain.
