City Towel Giveaway!!
This is my first (but not last) giveaway of EVRT Studio. 2011 has been a crazy year. I launched the City Towels in early February with an amazing response from folks. Thanks to the many blogs that featured them including Design Sponge, Grass Roots Modern and Design Work Life. It was overwhelming!
Anyway, immediately following the launch I ended up taking a full time job again that I could not refuse and it resulted in setting me back a little on the amount of time I had to launch new products. But I’m finally seeing time to start making things again with a very near launch of the Lori Bracelet (finally)
Giveaway
Anyway, I wanted to thank all of you amazing followers so I am giving away two sets (one day & one night included in the set) of my towels. All you need to do is leave a comment in section below this post before 2pm CST for a chance to win. (I’m sorry but I cannot count Tumblr replies because of how I count the entries: sorry). And make sure you absolutely leave an email address for me to contact you. After 2pm I will count the comments and randomly draw two winners!
Thanks! Good luck
**EDIT** Also, if possibly please avoid using a reply as your entry. It makes it much harder to count. I will only count comments left in the comment box on the permalink for the post. Sorry to be a pain, but it is too hard to keep track of replies.

Satellite Rug for CB2
After a long time of patiently waiting my rug design for CB2’s fall 2011 catalog has finally been released! Things happen so far in advance in the home decor world, so I have had to keep quiet for about 9 months which was incredibly hard.
I really wanted to keep a minimal design that was mostly neutral but with a splash of color. I think it turned out pretty well. Obviously it is pretty tough to translate the exact variance in nature of paint in the form of a rug, but I am more than happy with the results!

The rug is available in two sizes (5’ x 8’ and 8’ x 10’) both online and in store.

City Towels
The shop is now open and the towels are available. I’m really excited to finally get these out there; it has been a very long process and I am very happy with how they turned out. Thanks to the guys over at Vahalla Studios for such a great job at printing these.
I have about 70 of the “Night” towel and 48 of the “Day” towel. 100% cotton with non-toxic water based inks.
Thanks for all the support from everyone! I appreciate it more than you can possibly know.

Winter Wallpaper Pack
As I mentioned last week, here is a pack of wallpapers with photos taken after our big snowstorm in KC last week. There are 29 total images in the pack, sized for desktop, iPad & iPhone. Desktops are 2560x1600: if you need smaller I’m afraid you’ll just have to downsize folks. iPad wallpapers are 1024x1024 and iPhone at 640x960.
Hope you enjoy, and have a good weekend!

Yesterday I put on my snow gear, rubber boots, grabbed the camera & monopod, and went for a long hike through Shawnee Mission Park. I went completely off the paths (which I’m probably not supposed to do) and it felt really good to be hiking through areas with snow that was untouched except by wildlife. I only saw two other people the entire time, and they were a mile away.
Here are a few photos from yesterday. Next week look for a pack of winter wallpapers.

You can see all of these larger on my flickr page.

Facet Bracelet
I spoke about this on twitter earlier today, but thought I would post a photo here as well. I’ve kept this under wraps for a few weeks since this was a gift for my wife (which I gave her today) and I didn’t want her to find out. But I’m planning on making some for sale in January. There will also be a matching necklace pendant.
This is hand cut & shaped Marble wood. The color is a heat set paint which is extremely durable. The bracelet is then finished with a 100% natural Beeswax.
I’ll let you know when they go up in the shop in several weeks!

The first image done in a new series I am working on. Inspired by old ads and collages. Something very different for me, but I like it.
